WIFSY | March 2019 | When I First Saw You

Unfortunately this meme is currently on indefinite hold by the creator. But I think it’s a fantastic idea and really love completing WIFSY posts. So I have decided to carry on making WIFSY posts here. I am choosing books each month using Fantastic Fiction. Feel free to join in with your own interpretations of the cover.

And I apologise for the fact that my images are not centre aligned, I have been hit with the glitch in the new Gutenberg editor.

WIFSY Synopsis

It’s prom night, and the fifth girl in the last week goes missing. It’s a small town and when someone goes missing it’s hard not to notice, so how come no one has noticed where these girls are going and where, as there are no signs of struggle ever left behind for the small town cops to find. The only plausible reason to this is that someone close to the girls is the culprit, but these girls have nothing in common, and it’s only time until a sixth is taken.

Real Synopsis

In the small town of Aurora, teens go missing all the time. But when one of Piper and Hazel’s classmates disappears, they become determined to find out the truth of what happened to her.

While investigating, they meet three handsome and rich grad students…who kidnap them. The girls are taken to a building in the middle of a privately-owned forest. The building isn’t just designed to keep them locked away—every room is a test in survival. And Piper and Hazel won’t give up without a fight.

I feel like I wasn’t too far off this week. I got the fact that this was a small town story about disappearances, but this is more of a survival story than a mystery which I wasn’t expecting. I have to say though that the plot sounds really interesting and I really want to read this book now!
